Land Acknowledgement
Port Hope Figure Skating Club acknowledges that our office is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Mississauga Anishnaabeg people. While we are grateful to be able to exist on this land, we recognize we are here because of a long history of colonialism. We affirm the importance of reflecting and acknowledging of whose land our organization exists on. As a result, it is our responsibility as an organization to centre truth and reconciliation in our work.
