SKATE CANADA FEE

Port Hope Figure Skating Club is proud member of Skate Canada and as a result, we are required to charge an annual membership fee for each registrant. All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada prior to stepping on the ice. Annual Skate Canada Membership and Insurance is valid from September 1 to August 31. This fee is 100% non-refundable. 

Every Skate Canada registrant is assigned a unique 10 character Skate Canada number and this number remains with the that person for their lifetime. If you are registering for the first time, a Skate Canada number will be generated for you during the registration process. Returning registrants should enter their original Skate Canada number at time of registration. 

                     CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

If you're requesting a refund, we've got you covered! Simply submit your request in writing addressed to the "Port Hope Figure Skating Club Board Members". Once we receive your request, our board will review it and get back to you with our decision. Refunds, if approved, will be pro-rated and credited to the skater's account, unless they won't be returning. Please note, the Skate Canada fee and a $25 administration fee are non-refundable. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate session switches or make-up sessions, even for illness, appointments, or vacations. Lastly, refunds won't be issued for unforeseen circumstances like weather or ice cancellation by the Town of Port Hope.
